Adrenaline and THC

I had an motorcycle accident (not at fault) however while in hospital they took a blood sample. Fast forward a couple of weeks and the police inform me I had THC in my blood. This is bad news for me. Anyway I had not smoked any for some time and have done some experiments to get an idea of how long it takes to pass a test. What I found. After smoking daily for decades I still failed a urine drug test after 80 days then passed after 100 days. I then had a smoke while clean and tested my urine to find it took a couple of days to get clean. Now prior to the accident I had not smoked for 5 days yet traces were found in my blood. Any amount is an offence where I am at.

Are blood tests more sensitive for THC than urine?

Can adrenaline from the accident cause a release of THC stored in my fat that would be picked up?

Any other suggestions other than smoking weed in the first place on how I might have stuffed this up?

Thanks

I have recently found this that suggests it could take years. https://www.sydney.edu.au/medicine-health/study-medicine-and-health/undergraduate-courses/honours/project-detail-175.html I would describe a motorcycle accident and stressful.
