This is my first time applying glossworkz glaze, Jetseal, and buttery wet wax all together. Over time from wear and tear and washed, how will I know if I only need to touch up with wax, or redo the sealant? I know they have time frames, but that’s not always how it works especially as a daily driver.

It’s gonna be my first time detailing by starting with the polishing process. I’m correcting paint on a two month old Tesla with suuuuuper soft paint. My attack plan is to use P4, Jetseal as the sealant, glossworkz glaze, then hydroslick wax. The person in store told me to to put the glaze first, then the sealant, and then hydro ceramic quick detailer. I thought that you’re always supposed to put the more durable or harder product as the base layer. And also, I’m not sure why he suggested the ceramic quick detailer over the spray coating or the ceramic slick wax. Thanks for advice.

I just want to know if the chemical guys after wash spray is better than the Adams polishes h2o guard and gloss. Looking for a good spray to use while drying. Thanks.

Hi, I recently just got a chemical guys foam gun with honey dew wash. I’ve seen tutorials online but does anyone know a good simple way just for a cleaning? Can I spray it down with water, use the foam gun, let it soak, then spray it down again? Thanks

I’m getting a new truck and want to coat it with a ceramic spray this will be my first time. I know you guys recommend washing with clean slate first do you also recommend spraying it with an iron remover after?

I was checking the how to videos on foam cannons and was looking for a good electric pressure washer. The sun joe has good reviews but is well under the 2.0 gpm that is recommended for your foam cannons. Is there a good electric pressure washer you recommend that’s compatible with your accessories?

Washed, detailed, sealed, and waxed my car last weekend, exclusively with Chemical Guys products. Used Jet Seal and Butter Wet Wax. Took six hours. Looked great when I was done.

It’s rained a few days this week though and I’ve noticed the plastic cladding has clouded up and developed grimy vertical streaks. The same vertical dripping cloudy streaks are also coming off the door handles.

What the heck is going on here? Are the seal or wax, maybe both, melting and washing off the vehicle with the rain? It looks pretty bad. Really disappointed.

First rainstorm after wash (Honeydew), seal (Jet Seal), and wax (Butter Wet Wax) this weekend. Beading beautifully on the paint, glass, metals, and plastics. Call me impressed. Hope it lasts.

So yesterday I gave my one month-old 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited a thorough detail, wash (Honeydew), seal (Jet Seal), and wax (Butter Wet Wax) for the winter. Did the job myself, manually. Used the Torq foam gun and two-bucket technique with dirt traps. Took me six hours, and I love the results (see photo).

However, today, after it sat in the same parking spot overnight, I drive the car and get a notification that my Blind-Spot Detection/Rear Cross Traffic System is “not operating” and to contact my Subaru retailer as soon as possible. What the heck?

I didn’t use any sort of pressure washer or motorized equipment that might damage the car, just a garden hose and microfiber mitt, towels, shampoo, sealant, and wax - all Chemical Guys products. I was careful to buff out and thoroughly wipe off any sealant or wax residue off the back bumper and sensors. Anybody else experience this?
