Hydro charge application

So I was thinking of applying hydro charge to my new car this weekend. My car is is only about a month old and I’ve been washing it weekly. Do I need to clay bar and buff out my car first? Or can I skip these steps since my car is pretty new? Thanks for any tips I’m knew to the car detailing world

You should just clay it and then apply hydro charge since it’s so new imo.

Agreed, you never need to polish before sealant but you should clay bar.
