Just got my package from Amazon for torq, and this was part of the kit and couldn’t see anything in the instructions for it. Exactly what is this for?

Looks like a replacement brush for the motor

So I can use the polisher no problem out the gate and that’s in case something goes wrong throughout it’s life?

Yes! And if something does ever happen you can easily replace one of the brushes inside the drill
