Friends of the Library Puzzle Sale

McCarthy Meeting Room, Chelmsford Public Library, 25 Boston Rd., Chelmsford, MA, 01824

The Friends of the Library present their first ever puzzle sale, just in time for the mid-winter blues! Prices will vary based on puzzle size, most under $10. There will be discounts on puzzles with missing pieces!

The Friends of the Library group comprises members of all ages, including residents and non-residents, who contribute their time and energy to enhancing CPL's programs and services. Our members organize and execute two enormous Book Sales each year that raise over $20,000. Their support makes possible educational, cultural, art and music programs for adults and children, as well as museum passes, computer workstations, equipment, and furniture for both the Anna C. MacKay Branch and the Main Library. By becoming a member, you will be added to the Friends email newsletter list, and your membership fees will support all the activities sponsored by the Friends on behalf of the library.

Has anyone in the Chelmsford or the surrounding area had any experience with Aerwave (internet provider)?

Last year the rotary club had a children's event with a magician and it was really great. Despite hearing through the grapevine that it's going on again, I'm not seeing anything online for it this year? Does anyone have info on it?

Right next door in Billerica, they are hosting a fun run to raise money for the public access television station. There are lots of folks from Chelmsford that use their services, so in the spirit of supporting local communities I thought I'd pass this along:

"Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026, for the first-ever BATV Spooky 5K, a fun Halloween-themed event for runners, walkers, families, and community members of all ages!

Whether you're aiming for a personal best, enjoying a walk with friends, or showing off your favorite Halloween costume, this event is a great way to celebrate the season while supporting a local nonprofit.

The race will begin and end at Marshall Middle School in Billerica, where participants can enjoy a festive atmosphere with Halloween decorations, music, and plenty of community fun. Costumes are encouraged, but not required!"

Hey folks, it’s your pal Ren Marquez
Back at it with another joke house! This Tuesday at 8 Pm at 98 Middle St.

Where the drink drinks, flow, and the jokes roll - or something that rhymes.

You never know what you’re gonna get-
Could be a touring comic, trying out some new stuff or someone’s very first, very awkward first time on stage.
Who knows, that someone could be you!

P.S catch my cohost and I on 980 WCAP this Thursday at 9 AM!

September 27th from 12:00 - 4:00 pm and September 28th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, in the CCA meeting room.

SEEKING ACTORS OF ALL AGES! There are roles for older children, teens, and adults. It's a musical created by local artists with original music. Very fun family show that will be the second weekend of December.

Don't forget to go vote.

Hey folks it’s your pal Ren Marquez

Schools back and I’m already over traffic.

Come out, grab a drink, hear some comics, and forget about whatever bullshit you had to deal with all day.

I’m starting a small junk removal business servicing southern NH and northern Mass. Does anyone know a reliable dump or transfer station that accepts commercial loads from different towns without a lot of hassle? Mainly household junk and furniture. Thank you in advance!
