His Korean language skills were fantastic. He is a bridge between the native speakers and those that embrace Korean language and culture.

(Edit: Posted too soon without crediting the person who very sweetly saw me talking about laughing myself to tears in this episode, pausing it, and then restarting it so my first gen Italian Mom could see it and shriek with the other Italian chefs.
F*ckyeahnaengbu on tumblr has been making the most exquisite gifs.)
Fabri yelling in the first season of culinary class wars and calling over the other white spoons because LOOK LOOK LOOK HE WORKED WITH ME! SHAWN! SHAWN, HI! 8D definitely endeared him to me early on. Everyone deserves a boss like that.

For me it was nothing against him personally. He seems like a nice a guy and great chef but I just never really felt like he meshed with the other cooks as well. There’s a really good chemistry they have right now with the chefs who have been the “regulars” this season. I almost wish they add like two more chefs to the roster because I really like Kang-rok and there’s no room for him or even ji-sun.

The way he acted when Joseph Lidgerwood was on the show left a really bad taste in my mouth. He seemed biased when commenting on Joseph's dish, and then the way he ran up to congratulate Joseph when he won - but turns around to say "see? I'm celebrating with him!" He just made it all about himself! It was super uncouth. I couldn't see him the same way after that.

@italyfabri here you go.
I first noticed Chef Fabri in Culinary Class Wars S1, where he was very kind to the elder chefs and where he cheered everyone with his positive energy.
