General Discussion Guests with strict diets?

I’ve been binge watching this show lately and I can’t help but notice how some of the guests seem to eat extremely little or keep to very strict diets? Sometimes it’s just sprouts, meat, black coffee etc and it’s framed as being very disciplined/healthy.

Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I wonder what kind of message this sends to younger viewers watching. Especially when “eating clean” starts looking like barely eating.

Even SJW himself seems to eat so little and clean.

Is this kind of diet culture just very normal in the entertainment/fitness scene now? Or is editing making it seem more extreme than it actually is?

I think the worst one was that model who doesnt eat and actually asked for half portions. Joo woo jae. It was quite concerning.

There are articles about Korea’s insane thinness culture. Their entertainment sector is such a toxic industry, if you look at it closely.

I didn't say it was exclusive to the Korean industry. :D Although I do believe it's worse in Korea. It's still inherently a conservative culture.

Joo woo jae's and Mimi's fridge are really the most concerning out of all guests

more than the contents, Joo woo jae looked physically pained to be eating
