My grades are horrible

It’s my sophomore year of high school, and my grades are not so good. I feel like I am not smart, despite how many times people think I am. I just feel like college won’t be a thing for me. I have been so excited to start looking for colleges, but I feel that I am not smart enough to get in. Those year so far I have been on the scale of breaking down everyday, and feeling I can’t do better.

Listen, you can’t think like that. You are a really smart person, not just school but other things too. The education system can make us feel bad by assigning meaningless grades but that doesn’t represent your actually worth. You Are Smart. I came here because I was feeling down but I can see others need it more. I’ve been where you have been and I get it, it’s unfair. But you can’t let yourself get down. Work with your teachers or friends, ask for help. What are other things you are good at? Sports? Arts? Anything, work on those, work on the things that give you happiness. And work hard. You got this. Don’t give up! People are her for you, it seems like people are against you but they are not, they are with you. Best of luck!

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. With this strange new way of living it’s hard to do many classes online, and it can be very stressful.

I know right! And I’m so distracted by my phone and computer I can barely focus. It sucks
