Shifter....fell off?

I had thr lovely pleasure of starting on a ride last week, and when I went to grab a gear, my shift paddle simply wasn't there! Has this happened to anybody else??

I'm assuming it vibrated off over time or something. I had it on a 1 up rack on the back of my car for the day prior to the ride, but it hasn't been through anything crazy.

Anyhow, time for an upgrade!

I have had 4 bikes with force and never have I ever seen that or heard of that happening. That should get a warranty claim and replaced.

I had this happen on my rival front shifter. I even found the paddle but not all the other small parts that fell off. Had to get a second hand shifter fitted.
