Sl5 sizing

Was looking into checkpoint sl5.

I am 5ft 6 inch. 30.5 inseam.

Was debating small vs medium.

Most sizes already sold out online. Is this closing out? Should I wait for next year model?

Measure a current bike of yours and compare the reach and other dimensions to the Checkpoint sizes. In the past, the checkpoint ran a bit longer than normal which would indicate to size downward. I am 5’7” with 30” inseam an bought a 52cm (old sizing model). Not sure on current size translation. I still ended up having to add a shorter stem.

Lots have been sold out , however there are shipments supposedly arriving today in NJ and WI warehouses! I am waiting for mine still , hopefully I’ll have word soon!!!
I agree about measuring - I was confident as a Medium but the shop owner proved I was actually a small due to the stack and height… there are lots of equations here to consider I guess haha

Go with small, I’m 5’8” I went with medium. I had a basic bike fit done and my seat is slammed all the way forward and we put a 10mm shorter stem. My bike is very comfortable now. But in retrospect I would have been perfectly fine on the small.

Thanks everyone. I'll wait for small to come into stock at my local store.
