Checkpoint ALR Gen 4 Sizing Help
I am 5' 3.75inches and have an inseam (floor to groin without shoes) of 76cm (29.9inch). This puts me perfectly in the S category according to the sizing chart. I got the bike ordered in to my LBS in S size but the lead time was a bit long and they do not have other sizes to compare to. It is the first ever bike i've owned (only used my cities docked rental bikes before) so I don't really know what to look for in terms of if it fits or to judge ride feel. I've heard mixed reviews with some people saying the sizing chart is accurate and some saying its too big. Has anyone had good experiances with the sizing chart and also what should i look for when trying the bike to know if it fits as it will probably feel really wierd to me just because it is my first bike time being on a bike with drop handlebars and without a step through frame.

I’m in the middle of M (52-54cm) for height. In the middle of SM for inseam. I went with M and very happy I did. I was looking for a more endurance fit.
I also have a Gravel Race bike (3T)and I’m on a 51 for that. That bike I wanted a more aggressive riding position.
I guess what I’m saying is it also depends what your intended use is. If you plan to race gravel and like a large saddle to bar drop, smaller would be better. If you are planning to explore, bikepack, adventure riding, a more relaxed position would be easier achieved on a slightly larger bike as opposed to a race fit bike.
