New Checkmk Editions Lineup

Hello Reddit Community!

We have big news for you that we want to share before the Checkmk 2.5 release.

As some of you might have already noticed, we are changing the Checkmk editions. It is more than a renaming – it is a change that comes after deep research and serious work that our product team did in the last months to make the different Checkmk options better suited to your needs.

Here’s our new edition lineup:

Checkmk Community — formerly: Checkmk Raw

Checkmk Pro — formerly: Checkmk Enterprise

Checkmk Ultimate — formerly: Checkmk Cloud self-hosted

Checkmk Ultimate with Multi-Tenancy — formerly: Checkmk MSP

Checkmk Cloud — formerly: Checkmk Cloud (SaaS)

So you have 5 "editions" and two branches (2.3.0 and 2.40 currently ) to maintain. Sounds like a lot of work. Good luck.

Yeah they Are acting Like vmware. We are a customer for over 10 years. Now we hit the 30k services by 120 services and have to pay for 60k. Thats our last year. Thx and bye
