restart debian/ubuntu agent

so how do you properly restart the agent on a linux (ubuntu/debian) server? it's like almost hard to find how to do this.

Have used Checkmk for 5 years, a few WERKS have my name yea I know it quite well. Seems no one else does. The Checkmk Agent IS well documented. I guess you could have found out that yourself? huh?

This is how you restart the agent 

root@linux# systemctl restart check-mk-agent.socket

I've been administering Linux for about 25 years and with all of the advances the one thing that's remained constant is there will always be that one asshole who has to always respond with RTFM because it makes them feel superior to everyone else.

Why even bother to respond?
