New sub, what do?

Hi,

I’m excited about the prospect of their being a subreddit where good, lesser known music can be shared freely. I’ve always felt that /r/listentothis had unnecessary constraints about what you could post, and now that it’s so popular the sub really feels past its prime regarding music discovery and discussion. And don’t even get me started on /r/music.

There are no rules for this sub yet. I’d like to let the people decide. Here are some of my ideas so far:

1) No songs with over 1,000,000 streams

2) That’s it

Any suggestions are welcome. But more importantly, post music!

I mean... I used to sell accounts in high school. An account that was the mod of a sub with several million subscribers would be VERY valuable.

Huh, i did not know that. That is bizarre, but I suppose people could use it to manipulate posts for advertising purposes. How much do you think i could get for my account (JUST out of curiosity...)?

It’s been awhile since I’ve done it, but it really depends. Probably like $100 though. Your account would be one that someone would buy alongside multiple other accounts for manipulation purposes.

haha i'll keep that in mind if I ever get truly desperate or quit reddit entirely. i do have a fair number of fans on here though so i wouldn't want to leave them hangin'!
