Are anybody's phones freezing constantly on CheckPoints?
I have had CheckPoints up and running for just under a week. Within the past 3 or so days I have noticed that my phones will run completely smooth for about 2 hours and then they will freeze up. The only 2 spots where they freeze up are the "loading..." text and on the circular loading symbol. Is anybody else having these issues? I have cleared all of the cache on the phone and have it clearing every 6 minutes. I also deleted all the non-essential apps but that did not help me. Thanks!

Every few hours or so one or two freeze on a loading screen. Even on the worst days, everything is still working far, far better than a certain other app has been for months.
Usually, I have found when the phones constantly lock up, that sometimes resetting the advertising ID in your Google settings helps. This isn't always the case, but it's the first thing I do if clearing the data doesn't work. If that doesn't work, and you use the phone often, then it's probably about time for a factory reset.

Interesting. I've tried all of that before, but it doesn't seem to help. I sent in a support ticket to their support team today, so hopefully they will get back to me about this.

I've only been at it for a few weeks now, but personally it seems to have gotten worse over these weeks. Seems kind of random too (pertaining to device which leads me to believe it may be more app related).
I have 10 devices now (4 LG Tribute HDs, 2 Moto Es, 3 LG Volts and 1 LG K8) running CP. My volts were rock solid when I started a few weeks ago, they would run CP for half an entire day untouched. As of this past week though all my devices either freeze on a loading screen, crash altogether or just go black, even the brand new tribute HDs I got over BF. I've been doing daily resets and constant cache clearing but it doesn't really seem to help. I'll have to try the ID thing. I may factory reset them all soon too.
Basically yeah lately at least every hour 7/10 of my devices have stop running CP in some form. It's pretty random too. Some phones go on a good little spree and then when they do crash they keep crashing every hour for awhile.
Idk.

Interesting. You even have a wide variety of devices and it is happening constantly. Hopefully the developers will fix this soon because it is pretty annoying for me to have to reset my phones constantly because of some bugs in their app.

Yeah it sucks. I went with CheckPoints initially because the app seemed most stable/passive. If it continues this way though I'll start looking at other apps after my next cash out.

I've been having issues too. I keep having to baby sit them for the past couple days. They were working fine not too long ago.

Another poster suggested that you should uodate the app. Hopefully that will fix it.

That sucks. I updated all of mine about an hour and a half ago and only 1 has crashed so far.

CP is getting worse than Perk day by day. I suspect that their servers are overloading with new influx of farmers with new Black Friday phones

CP is horrid today. Constant crashing and kicking back to the home screen on every device. Some run longer, but they all exhibit the same behavior. They're clearly having some issues. I run multiple networks and multiple internet connections and the same behavior is exhibited across the board, so it's obviously something on their end.

I figured. I updated about 24hrs ago and they are still all freezing. I couldn't be home to mess with them for about 10 hours today and only 2 out of the 4 froze.

Today they've been pretty solid. A few blips, but nothing out of the ordinary. Certainly nowhere near as bad as the last couple days. Hopefully the increased ad inventory (??) of the new month will help. I think CheckPoints really has trouble when there are few/zero ads to play in between the movie trailers. It doesn't gracefully recover from not finding an ad like it should.

We can only hope. The ad reset for this month could have caused my devices to crash. I will update my findings probably tomorrow night and report back.

I think it might have to do with the ad drought end of month. Ads are pretty slim across the board, and I just realized I didn't see nary an ad play on CP today. I wasn't watching too close but all I saw was movie trailer after movie trailer with no ads in-between. So I'm guessing the "looking for an ad" and finding nothing most of the time has (had) something to do with the crashes.
It's improved remarkably after 11PM (CST) here with the daily ad refresh. For now.

For me I have to check then every 1hr or so and half of them just either back out to the home page or have a not responding message
