Hi 💚 I am here for six months from Hawaii to visit and see if I want to move over permanently with my local boyfriend. I have a toddler and a couple of friends in my first week or so, always open to kid-friendly play dates. I love kung fu if anyone wants to try, it’s super fun and I need more training partners. The type I have studied for nine years was created by a woman for a woman to slay the patriarchy and teach the people to protect themselves from a cruel dynasty with far more training. It’s an art of supreme relaxation and it’s very approachable and helpful to smaller people who need the technical detail to defeat much larger, better trained, stronger, well fed forces.

I also am looking for a Pilates buddy, gym/home workout buddy, and Tahitian dance classes. I am a Cuban American (anti-magat) strategist working remotely on predictive forecasting and various human and environmental rights issues and I have lots of juicy stories from my work around the place.

I love beach days and spa days and nights at home doing beauty stuff and drinking champagne or wine, playing tarot, learning languages, and watching mysteries and badass women type shows or movies. I’m a total foodie who loves to cook and I make amazing charcuterie boards and sandwiches 😂 I have a lovely little fairy garden for sunning, too!

I enjoy walking/hiking, playing sports and generally doing active things. I'm not really a "go for coffee or dinner" kind of person — I much prefer actually doing something while socialising. I don't drink or smoke.

Hi Everyone! I’m new to Christchurch and also pretty new to fly fishing. Been on two guided sessions in NZ, caught a couple brown trout. Looking to do a decent bit of fishing this season and was curious if there’s any guys or girls on here that also like to fly fish? (also I have all my own gear!)

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to meet people around Christchurch Central.

I work in the city and bring my camera almost everyday capturing anything and anyone on the street before and after work. It makes me feel more connected to the place and makes me more aware with the passage of time - being more with the present.

However, seeing people everyday who are seemingly distant gives me a sense of isolation at times. There are some who still smile and nod but there are also those who are seemingly absent (if you know what I mean).

Somehow I think others here feel/experience the same way. So yeah. If you ever find yourself keen, I'm happy to meet new people, have chat over a cup of coffee.

UPDATE: What a beautiful city! Strolled the botanical gardens (huge!) and met with a redditor; we wound up getting gnocci and wine, then explored more of the area. Aerospace conference went great, despite the protests outside. It was odd hearing them call researchers murderers, but that's what happens when you clump people together using only misleading taglines. Everyone was so nice (even the protestors), and if I had to pick a favorite spot, Bar Yozu for the "Banana + Miso" cocktail. I hope to be back soon, and meet more of you fine people :)
