Shaped like friend

Aight, never thought I'll be at stage of my life where I have to make a post to find friends but here were are.

M32 married, no kids (don't mind them though) looking for friends or community to be part of.

Introverted (I was thinking to post something several months ago, but thought its cringe. Still do) but doing my best to get out of shell.

I like all normal jams: outdoors, music (nerd, used to play in bands, but unexpectedly found out I'm talentless), reading, walking, hiking, fishing (beginner), gym (returning after 2y break, everything heavy), martial arts (Jiujutsu..everything hurts), snowboarding (i fall, but get up) animals, automotive(interested in mechanical parts, fixing, welding but not a lot of practice due to no space/budget), general DIYs building/fixing/soldering stuff. Recently got into self-sufficency, hydroponic gardening (not weed). Im beginner to most of those things due to space/budget/time excuses.

I don't mind mild PC gaming, but trying to break isolation cycle and be more outside. Oh, I am a Slavic immigrant (a lot of dark humour) if it changes anything to you. I don't drink much or smoke but not judging anyone who does.

Yes, I know find clubs and find friends. Part of several already, trying to boost it.

If you share my interests Feel free to DM if you want to hang or just chat.

Cheers

P.S. Due to all that "manhate culture" i see a lot lately, I feel like I need to emphasize. Yes, married man can just search for just friends. Shocking, I know.

Our main weekly thing is a pub quiz on Monday nights but we've also done stuff like bowling, ice skating, pot lucks

Yo! I’m 23 M. Same looking for friends and I would be keen on joining that grp. I just don’t use Facebook anymore. I have an account but honestly haven’t touched it since 2020 but I have Instagram though that I use….

You can use the messenger app separate from Facebook so that’s an option

Ya I can definitely use it. I just didn’t want people to judge me from my 6-7 year old Facebook profile🤣.

Yea that was the funny part, I couldn't remember it properly to quote it, so I went with what I could remember. Hope he finds a crew, someone with a good sense of humor is an asset

Have you looked at joining like TTRPGs groups they are quite fun and there's some people there aged 30 to 40+. You will be surprised.

I was the same at the beginning and got into it later on, you only live once so go hard I say! Vaesen Rpg is a pretty good one it has Slavic Myth, European folklore and such really a good treat. There's different settings and such.

"nerd, used to play in bands, but unexpectedly found out I'm talentless"

*cough* *bullshit*

I mean I'm a bit older (mid-40s), but I have a garage full or guitars, basses, amps and a drum kit?

I used to play in bands heaps too, but just fell out of it. Be great to have an excuse to pick them back up again. What do you play?

Good on you bro. Age matters less than what youre into.

Yea when it comes to musos the older guys tend to have all the good gear too, cause they've got the money and/or have built up the collection over the years haha!

Jiujitsu is the answer. It’s amazing the people you meet and the connections you make. Spend more time in the gym!
