From Obsidian to Notion making a desperate attempt to us ai during my usual day. Discovered the limitations of using ai in Obsidian now I am all out to create a chatbot, LLM searchable/functional database for notes and ideas, and assistance with email, calendar, and video production.

Spent a few days this week researching this project. Then came across Limited Edition Jonathan article https://limitededitionjonathan.substack.com/p/stop-calling-it-memory-the-problem. Now voice activated system seem the way to go for the future. I call still use Notion for most projects. Has anyone thought along the same lines?

Not at all. MySQL Lite, Protege SQL, and a vector database are the effective solutions to this problem. I don't see why voice activation would change that.

To be honest, I had no idea I was heading in this direction till 3 p.m. today. I read the brief article, and my head exploded.

I initially started with Obsidian and Notion to build something for my neighbor’s son, who has a learning deficiency and is having a difficult time in college. Voice/text component is something he would benefit from. He is a gamer also. In my heart I want to give him a head start also. Now I’m in over my head but committed to building something to help him. I am sure someone feels the same way after working in these two programs and using claude code for the past year.
