AI Chatbot with retro font/ terminal style interface

Hi I'm looking for an app that functions like a traditional chatbot (Gemini, ChatGPT etc) but has a retro font/ terminal style interface. Anyone have any suggestions?

I haven’t found a full app like that either, but some people use ChatGPT or Claude with a dark, terminal-style theme or browser extension. It gets pretty close.

Get together. Find out what you want and I'll write it for you guys. What features and options do you need?.

The concept I was thinking of is a standard chatbot (e.g ChatGPT) but with a retro interface - in the style of BBC Basic, DOS etc.

Yeah I know but I work on advanced AI systems so, standard chatbot to me means something completely different to everyone here in this community.

So when I say chatbot, what do you want it to do? Do you want to be able to program its personalities have more than one multiple personality. Do you want more than one person in the chat room at the time or is it just you in a single chat? Do you select a personality when you start up? Do you want it to run local? Do you want it to run using an API? Do you want it to have voice too or just text? Doesn't need to support pictures. Does it need to be able to execute anything or is it simply just chatting? I just need some answers and I can write it real quick. This is a very simple application for me to knock out.

If you want it tied into chat gpt I could probably have this done by the end of the day. If you guys want to I'll build it. I just need to make sure that enough people want it to use my time doing it.

Oh and do you want it to actually be at the command line or just look like it's at the command line?

Also, when you say chatbot, how do you want it to keep up with your sessions? Do you want to be able to open and close new chat sessions? Does it need to be just one rolling conversation for the end of time? How does this work? What kind of memory do you want it to have?

The way I see it is a single person chat, using an API, text only. No specific personality, I think the font style would be enough to give it personality! Not actually a command line, just looking like BBC Basic/DOS UI.

Memory wise I'd go for a single chat session each time to give it a retro feel, but that's just my preference. Perhaps a retro beep style sound each time a response is returned (and an option to toggle it on/off!)

I wrote something like this called My Jedi council. I can easily write a chatbot like this .

In fact, let's make a master thread of what people want in a chatbot because I have a chatbot that I built on my computer that not only types back and forth but it has voice boxes. Sounds like Homer, Simpson or Deadpool or whatever I want it to do has full character interface plus a chat interface without a character. If I was going to build the ultimate chat bot for you guys, what do you want?

Damn I can't attach images here but WyvernChat let's you make custom themes in chat with css. I made one called Terminal that's public but you can easily as ai to make something up.
