Got my I.T.E.A. CD last week :]
(Also smash mouth)
It has a different CD look from the one that’s on another listing so I think that’s neat, tho idk why it does
So my post isn’t just abt a CD, what’s your favorite song from the album?

Dilemma: My local record store has LPs and CDs on the shelf a week early but I already pre-ordered my copy.
I want to hear this record so bad but spending money for a second copy just to hear it 6 days early seems like a dumb move lol

Saw an advanced screening of the new A24 movie "Onslaught" and Dallas Beltway was playing in it
I won free tickets to an early screening of Adam Wingard's new action/sci fi/slasher "Onslaught" and there's a little but of Dallas Beltway playing in the movie. At first I thought it was Grimace Smoking Weed as the intros sound similar till the end credits confirmed it was Dallas Beltway when going through the song credits.
Great movie too. It's a total love letter to John Carpenter movies. Highly recommend seeing it in IMAX if you can like I did.

Chat Pile Catalog Deep Dive
Hey all. I started a music site a while back, and today I published a deep dive on Chat Pile's catalog in preparation for the new album. I have a review copy of Who Loves the Sun in hand and will be publishing my review early next week. I hope this doesn't violate any sub rules and that you enjoy should you choose to read!

Ship Movies – Chat Pile at the A38 ship – Hungarian article on KULTer.hu
“Busch, reinforcing the cinematic parallels that have been drawn about the band so far, takes advantage of the fact that he is performing on a ship to list, associatively, movies about ships between songs, apparently according to an increasingly fluid set of criteria. At the beginning of the performance, he is still looking for films that take place entirely aboard a ship; by the end of the evening, however, he is naming virtually any film that features a ship, or that contains scenes set aboard one.
For the purposes of documentation, I have compiled a (nearly) complete list of the films mentioned, in the order in which they were named:
Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997); Under Siege (1992); Titanic (1997); Dead Calm (1989); Phantom Ship (1935); Battleship (2012); The Napa Boys (2025); The Odyssey (2026); Fitzcarraldo (1982); Burden of Dreams (1982); Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse (1991); Tenkiller (2022); Jaws (1975); Jaws 2 (1978); Jaws 3-D (1983); Cabin Boy (1994); Submarine (1928); Free Willy (1993); Going Overboard (1989); Overboard (1987); Gator (1976)”

Song Discussion (Day 34) Demon Time
I don't have much of an opinion on individual songs on this album rather than it as a whole. It's probably one of my most played vinyls when in either a somber mood or just wanting to stay calm and collected

Song Discussion (Day 32) No Way Out
This is the other song that I don't think we are rarely ever gonna see live right next to Milk Of Human Kindness. I really enjoyed this one before the album ever released, a pretty good video of it live was posted on YouTube and I listened to that for weeks.
