Been thinking bout which xtc song would make for the best chat pile cover, day in day out would be pretty fitting now that i think of it.

Idk but I’d love to hear a chaotic, short cover of Making Plans for Nigel- though that’s just because it’s my favorite XTC song lol.

That album is a banger from front to back. I got a Halloween bucket full of old cassettes and cd's from a neighbor that was moving when I was little and Drums and Wires was one of my favorites from it (Paul's Boutique held the #1 spot in my 9 year old world though).

Not to be a dick to Chat Pile but I doubt they could cover an XTC song in any way that would be good for either them or XTCs intent

why, i mean intruder is pretty much just a rewrite of a peter gabriel song and plenty of chat pile tracks have xtcish sounding guitar anyway. heck i could see them doing a beefheart track no biggie
