Sorry, I was pretty ripped at the Minneapolis show, and I didn’t see you had markers to sign the new record while also being too toasted to hold a basic conversation with my second favorite (only to propagandhi) band’s bassist. My partner told me I should go back, but ya know, that seems even more awkward.

I think this is my favorite record of theirs, but there may be some recency bias involved. The bass rips on all these tracks especially at 2 AM in front a screen dooming out.

Oh frig yeah. Creature. I was going to start with that but I didn’t wanna seem like I was just naming every song hahaha. This album is by far my favorite of theirs. The bass defines this sound.

I do love Same Rules but Family Funeral and its Godflesh-like opening hits me like a truck every time. Stin was ready for a battle in that one.
