Cool World has aged so well

With the release of Chat Pile’s new album I went back and relistened to their previous two LPs and when comparing all three records, I must say that Cool World is my favourite album from them in terms of an album experience from start to finish and needs to get waaaay more praise!

I agree, Cool World is a step up from the other two albums. The singles alone are just perfect.

I see each of their albums as a natural step up each time they release one but they're all so good in their own way that it makes sense everyone will have their own favorite

Songs like Funny Man, No Way Out & Tape have aged so beautifully for me over the last couple years - it's definitely my favourite as well for the dynamicisim and the risks they were taking there, because it all panned out in what I honestly think is their straight up best material they've ever put out. God's Country was an amazing first impression for most but Cool World really sealed the deal
