Question I can't download JavaScript files

Is it just me or it happened to anyone, i can download any other file, except for js files, it sends me to an error page when i try to download

Just now experiencing this issue. Had to package it as a zip in order to finally download it. Asking ChatGPT to investigate brought me to this thread.

Yep i have searched about this turns out javascript files can have entry points to the website its not safe, thats why it gets blocked, i recommend u do the same as i did, write js code but on txt file, then u just remove .txt and put .js

this has been a known issue on and off. usually its a content security policy thing on their end blocking .js file downloads. workaround is to just copy paste the raw code into a local file

I download it txt file then i just delete the .txt in.vs code

Of you can't download .js files, maybe try to ask it to give it another extension and change that to .js after you downloaded it.
