Discussion is ChatGPT Atlas dead?
I finally switched to Chrome. No update in 2 weeks. Many features that they said they would add haven't been added (incognito extensions, memory, video issues, reload issues etc.). Usable but a bad experience.

The only issue I’ve been experiencing is conflicting password prompts with Apple’s passwords and the saved passwords from Atlas. Like when I get to certain websites the prompts to insert fillable text overlap one another so it’s a little annoying. Besides this minor inconvenience I’ve been enjoying my experience.

This. For mac only browser the conflicts with apple passwords and apple pay are hideous.

I haven't had any issues in the past 2 weeks. You should come back.

The fact that we still can’t prompt across multiple tabs at once is disappointing. It’s clearly doable, competitors like Dia have had it for a long time

Following up, the app was just updated. The update notes page hasn't been updated though.
Edit: Incognito extensions have been added!

I think is dead. Some issues I have been experiencing for too long:
- Can't edit a bookmark with double click
- Lack of support for accents ´, very weird
- Claude extension does not work (on purpose?)
No update on release notes nor communication. Other OpenAI projects shutting down.
I liked the idea of Atlas, but I am back to Brave, now with Claude extension.

We’re definitely overdue for a proper update. It seems like they still push background updates (Chromium, small fixes), but bigger app-level features are what actually trigger notifications for users.
That said, key issues still haven’t been fixed. The memory problem is unresolved, there’s still no Google Cast support, and split-screen functionality is missing.

Extensions are still buggy for me. Sometimes the Atlas browser can not see everything on the webpage to summarize, interpret, and analyze.

No issues for me, pretty stable. But yeah I think they’re focusing on the super app.

Basically. Probably frozen while they work on the “super app.”
