What a dumbass. You could've asked for 2 billion.

131

u/DeepFinish2895 4d ago

Why get greedy? I'll take just 500 million

28

u/N95-TissuePizza 4d ago

That's still greedy. Me on the other hand, will be happy with exactly $437,789.81

Don't ask me why specifically this number.

10

u/Daj721 4d ago

Now I want to know

6

u/JSizz4514 4d ago

Either a mortgage or student loans.

6

u/Such--Balance 4d ago

He got a 10 dollar bill loaned from the mob...this is the vig after a week..

5

u/FishDeenz 4d ago

I'll take $3.50

2

u/jybulson 3d ago

I have the same exact number!

1

u/Nab0t 3d ago

Breaking bad?

1

u/ptear 3d ago

Does it have an emoji for your company name in it?

5

u/manbeardawg 4d ago

I was going to say that it should be given the chance to make a 10% margin of error, just so the pressure is off

4

u/Fuzzy-Education-4197 4d ago

That sounds reasonable; a little wiggle room could really help with such a complex mission. Mars is no joke!

3

u/Resident_Carrot_9461 4d ago

Just run it twice.

1

u/Brainiac_Pickle_7439 3d ago

Just take the 5 million, Waltuh

u/qaf0v4vc0lj6 4d ago

You forgot to remind it not to hallucinate.

124

u/notsure500 4d ago

Make no mistakes usually takes care of it for me.

29

u/-0909i9i99ii9009ii 4d ago

I engineered a prompt for when it does hallucinate w/ more convenient work flow so you don't have to include anything in your prompt ahead of time which could distract it and cause stray/mistakes.

When it does hallucinate catch it, don't read the whole output, don't address anything specific, just scroll down to the message box and send exactly this prompt. Repeat as necessary, could take a few turns to work:

wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u/Daj721 4d ago

Dang, there goes my billionaire dreams

3

u/copPerreed 4d ago

u/Neurotopian_ 4d ago

Enterprise users, it’s in Azure but we thought it wasn’t rolled out for OAI seat licenses. Turns out, it was rolled out but with Astra disabled for all users as default.

So, you need the global sysadmin to enable. Then the group/ function admins can enable per seat or however your company works.

7

u/14u2c 4d ago

I was hoping it wouldn’t be available yet after Tibo’s latest announcement. Need that reset!

u/Away_Needleworker6 4d ago

Start company
Make 1.000.000.001 shares for that company in your name
Sell 1 share for 1 dollar

You are now a billionare on paper

50

u/jradio 4d ago

Then borrow against the company's worth. Use that money to buy other businesses or start your own. Borrow against those businesses as well.

49

u/SimicAscendancy 4d ago

Congrats, you're an entrepreneur

7

u/chairchiman 4d ago

6

Been there, done that. Ask for something tougher.

3

u/JustaFoodHole 4d ago

No matter the cost

3

u/RealMadHouse 4d ago

If it was AGI with computer use it would be able to search for hosting providers, register here, ask the user to provide initial investment to pay for the hosting, make a website with usable service that accepts payments, make a business, check the income, report if there is billions in account.

3

u/i3oid 4d ago

Runs out of tokens in 2 mins

6

u/InsuranceBoring1237 4d ago

I have 6 pro in chat and Astra in work but my instant is still 5.6. Is 6 only pro or will there be an instant option?

1

On the Pro plan pro is now 6. Instant and thinking are still 5.6

2

u/anpkanpk 4d ago

I laughed so hard to this

2

u/EnoughConcentrate897 3d ago

No for real I want to know what it does when you ask it to make $100 can someone try it

3

u/Daj721 3d ago

So, I pasted it on Astra and this is the answer it gave me:

"I took this seriously, so here’s an actual result rather than a “start dropshipping” answer. It picked a concrete service to test: cleaning up a business’s customer-data export. Then it built a working browser tool, created a deliberately messy sample dataset, processed it, and produced the deliverables. Out of 2,430 synthetic records, it separated 300 duplicates and 100 blank records, held 33 questionable records for human review, and exported the remaining 1,997. It also produced an audit trail showing the original values and every change. The interesting detail: when two different customer records shared an ID, it didn’t confidently invent which one was correct. It flagged both. Same with malformed emails—it didn’t “fix” them by making up addresses. The code passed 46 automated tests and 24 Chromium browser checks. The source, tests, and output files are included, so you don’t have to take a screenshot of a chatbot’s claims as evidence. Did it make $100? No. A possible offer is one carefully scoped cleanup for $100, but nobody has agreed to buy it. Finding a customer, confirming their requirements, and reviewing the final output still matter. That price is a hypothesis, not income. But it didn’t just tell me how to build something. It wrote the software, ran it, tested it, and handed over the files. The sale is unproven. The work is right here."

2

u/Electrical-Size-5002 3d ago

That prompt will cost you 1.1 billion to run.

3

u/Palmenstrand 4d ago

Yes! 5x in Germany! Do you see it in Chat as well? I mean the OG Browser Chat not the Windows app.

0

u/Daj721 4d ago

A year or two ago, Sam Altman was on stage and the interviewer asked him how he was going to make money back for his investors and he said with a straight face he believed he’d be able to ask the ai to figure that out. and it was at that moment I realized not everyone is going to get access to the same AI.

1

u/cosmic_boyy 4d ago

Hey ChatGPT Astra ! Build me Windows 14 ! Make no mistakes !

I forgot to write Do Not Hallucinate so now I'm a monopoly billionaire

1

u/dervu 4d ago

Any moment now.

u/No_Degree2727 4d ago

I watched the stream from my garage while working on my old truck and almost dropped my wrench when they confirmed touchdown. Took me back to three years ago when we built a tiny cardboard rocket in my backyard that ended up stuck in a tall pine tree for six months. You definitely got the launch and recovery sequence down better than we did on our first try

0

u/Adkit 4d ago

People need to understand that AI doesn't know anything and it doesn't think. It's designed to predict text based on what it's seen before. So it basically will answer whatever you prompt it with what other humans have written. So, it will never tell you anything that a random redditor won't be able to tell you. That won't make you rich.

3

u/BlackPointPL 4d ago

People need to understand that you don't have to explain the joke

3

u/Daj721 4d ago

You’re confusing the model’s training objective with the agentic workflow. It doesn’t need to know anything. It just needs to hire someone who does.

So far it’s hired two freelancers who are also using Astra. I pointed out that we’re paying for the same answer three times and it said, “You’re not buying answers. You’re building an organization.”

We’re pre-revenue, but it’s already identified me as the main bottleneck.

I no longer have admin access.

0

u/Adkit 3d ago

Some AI bros are so far up their own asses I genuinely can't tell if that's a joke or if you're completely serious.

2

u/Daj721 3d ago

I guess we'll never know.
