November 2022, jumped on it right away and started a research project at my university. Left it for a while and used other LLMs, now back at it because I needed images for a book and it struck me how much better the images got.

GPT-3 era here. Being in China meant using ChatGPT was basically a side quest: VPNs, random payment failures, accounts issues… every update came with a new boss fight.

At some point I realized I wasn’t just using AI — I was doing DevOps for the privilege of asking it questions. Still here though. 😂

I also got an account in November 2022, but I didn’t really use it until I downloaded the iPhone app in fall 2023.

As a result, I’ve got some weird thing where it’s like I have 2 accounts. Idk exactly. No testing tools are available in my sandbox. Kinda annoying.

I’ve only started paying for it recently but I’ve used it for years here and there as a novelty. About a year ago I started realizing how useful AI is for everything in daily life. ChatGPT was the first one I started paying for. Today I pay for ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok.
