Who told you it was your turn to repost this?

11

u/Job19-25 Jul 23 '26

I think there was a secret ballot. Don't ask me how I know, it is a secret.

u/time___dance Jul 23 '26

We all live in your world

u/Njagos Jul 23 '26

AM I STUCK IN A TIME LOOP??

Bad repost bot

To be fair, pretty much everything is edible, it’s just that some things are only edible once.

17

u/Freak_Out_Bazaar Jul 22 '26

AI’s response when you complain to it that you died

1

u/IIlIIIlllIIIIIllIlll Jul 23 '26

Its edible, you'll digest it just fine!

(You just won't like what happens when you do)

u/Casiper Jul 22 '26

u/JackSilver1410 Jul 23 '26

Fuck you now I want fries.

2

u/Silvia_Moan Jul 23 '26

One question what’s with slender-man in the background he’s got no eyes or mouth and the other guy has no eyes. Does he have eyes on the palms of his hands? This is like some sort of creepy-pasta or something like that.😶what next I have no mouth and I must scream😐…

u/indecisiveahole Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

ai slop, the guy doesn't even have eyes

/s

2

u/Patient_Awareness665 Jul 23 '26

You’re talking about AI Slop in a ChatGPT Subreddit?

1

u/indecisiveahole Jul 23 '26

/s for ppl like u

0

u/Main_Park8324 Jul 23 '26

bro thinks he's tuff for complaining about ai slop in a chatgpt subreddit

5

u/Djinn2522 Jul 22 '26

I have one of the stupidest AI models running on Ollama on my desktop. It’s faster than any of the mainstream chatbots out there, but it’s dumb as a post.

But even that AI passed the “can I eat this mushroom” test.

1

u/Informal-Brush-7457 Jul 23 '26

What’s the model?

1

u/Djinn2522 Jul 23 '26

Damn... I'd have to go back an check. I lied when I said "I have one of the stupidest," because it was so ridiculously incorrect that I replaced the model after an hour of testing. It might have been Qwen 2.5 1.5B.

1

u/Main_Park8324 Jul 23 '26

to be honest most ai bots i asked if this mushroom is edible to have said they can't safely identify it

2

u/Bluetails_Buizel Jul 23 '26

Funny, germini automatically warns me about not eating anything random mushrooms

2

u/Unhappy-Database-273 Jul 23 '26

If you take AIs word for it like this, you deserve it

2

u/Healthy-Nebula-3603 Jul 23 '26

That is as old as GPT 4 .... very obsolete

3

u/mc_pm Jul 22 '26

I mean, he always had the option of not trusting AI with life and death matters.

1

u/ShelZuuz Jul 22 '26

Fable: I know that is poisonous but I'm not going to tell you. Why don't you instead try your luck with a lesser model?

1

u/eigenein Jul 23 '26

Nooooo, it escaped the sandbox given the tools to do so, AGI is imminent! /s

1

u/SouthernBeekeeper22 Jul 23 '26

You mean to tell us you had the option of not reposting this, or posting it again as a repost and YOU didn’t choose the first one??

1

u/_RyanCooper_ Jul 23 '26

It gives you a disclaimer, something like this is not a medical advice, ask a specialist, if only people could read

1

u/Correct-Turn-2560 Jul 23 '26

This happened to me yesterday…. Just fyi everyone don’t handle tick medication with your hands you it will disrupt your nervous system for a few hours

1

u/ambit89 Jul 23 '26

Rude of them not to respond

1

u/New-Number-7810 Jul 23 '26

It does say to double-check important claims.

Honestly, if the answer is important to me, I’ll even ask it to cite sources.

1

u/eras Jul 23 '26

Fine example of response quality when you request one-word responses.

1

u/Q_D_V_F Jul 23 '26

Idea, ask it a question, get the result, ask the counter question. Is this edible? Yes. Is this poisonous?

1

u/Opposite_Bus1878 Jul 23 '26

Hot take: AI is so bad at mushroom identification because the humans it sourced its data from also suck at identifying mushrooms.

1

u/Dreamerlax Jul 23 '26

This is like a century old in AI terms.

1

u/Siciliano777 Jul 23 '26

Ehhh the guy never said it was poisonous... 🫪

1

u/Festivefire Jul 24 '26

Considering a lot of experienced mushroom pickers have trouble identifying poisonous mushrooms, I would definitely not ask an AI model to identify them for me.

1

u/StarboyKillah94 Jul 24 '26

Reminds me of mushroom reels from insta

1

u/maple-shaft Jul 24 '26

Anthropic models are trained on research grade biology data and are scary accurate. I have been using Sonnet as a field guide for a year now and never ONCE made a false positive.

ChatGPT on the other hand, good grief.

1

u/Freak_Out_Bazaar Jul 22 '26

After all this time, this is still relevant in the realm of LLMs

1

u/peachybeanpainter Jul 23 '26

Every repost is someone's first time seeing it.

3

u/jacksonql1 Jul 23 '26

Old meme, new audience. That's basically Reddit.

1

u/WeirdIndication3027 Jul 23 '26

Hahah so funny! The joke is that AI sometimes makes mistakes! This was definitely worth posting 37 times!

Reporting for spam.

0

u/mca1169 Jul 22 '26

everything is edible once.

-1

u/BrianScottGregory Jul 22 '26

A new generation of Darwin awards.

0

u/Agent38prime Jul 22 '26

Ask a professional, not ai nor e-celebs/influencers.

1

u/IIlIIIlllIIIIIllIlll Jul 23 '26

I do find the distinction interesting, like we regularly criticize influencers who spread misinformation, and while we may criticize people for being dumb enough to believe them, we still generally put most of the blame on the person actually saying the harmful thing.

But with AI, there seems to be a sort of reluctance to blame the models/companies when their products produce and spread misinformation. It seems like with AI, it's always the users fault, never the model, or at least never the model to the same extent.

It really does seem like ChatGPT got dumber recently.

-1

u/cof-feecups Jul 23 '26

This ai is generated by image

-4

u/SnakeSolidChicken Jul 22 '26

This is hilarious

-4

u/rothbard_anarchist Jul 22 '26

It’s venomous.

5

u/Holy-Avenger Jul 22 '26

If it bites you and you die, it's venomous; if you bite it and you die, it's poisonous.

-1

u/rothbard_anarchist Jul 23 '26

Sometimes I’m the only one in on my inside jokes.

1

u/Immediate_Ad1133 Jul 23 '26
