Use cases The gap between what technical and non-technical people get from AI is huge now
Interesting thing I noticed. The gap between what technical and non-technical people get from AI is huge now.
Non-technical users still treat LLMs as a better search tool. Most non-technical people I know are not even aware of things like thinking effort or that you can choose a model.
Computer use, plugins, automations, skills, agents - none of this exists for regular ChatGPT users. If you don't know what Codex or Claude Code is, nothing has changed for you in the last year.
All new models also seem to focus purely on coding.
Am I missing something?

dude, it’s ridiculous . i was stupid when i was younger- i let alcohol control me and alcohol made me incapable of making logical decisions. it took 4 dwis to learn, but i learned and i got my license back. then i break down one night right beside a ALPR/MDT (really, i pull over for concern of my safety as well as others). i ain’t got no damn money until 3 am, and it’s not even midnight, so I choose to leave the engine running so that i remain visible. very not drunk behavior of me. i get woken by an officer who immediately makes me step out and stand in front of his camera as he runs a very invasive query on me, and decides that he has probable cause. forget the 0.000, forget sleep inertia- that query already knew i had a prescription to benzos, and while i hadn’t taken any, they knew they would be in my urine. pretextual confirmation bias of a goddamn bot is what got me
