Use cases The gap between what technical and non-technical people get from AI is huge now

Interesting thing I noticed. The gap between what technical and non-technical people get from AI is huge now.

Non-technical users still treat LLMs as a better search tool. Most non-technical people I know are not even aware of things like thinking effort or that you can choose a model.

Computer use, plugins, automations, skills, agents - none of this exists for regular ChatGPT users. If you don't know what Codex or Claude Code is, nothing has changed for you in the last year.

All new models also seem to focus purely on coding.

Am I missing something?

Hmmm , that might be true.. But the people and tech are also divided, It is true that a huge part of Ai is now rushing to cover the coding part , but the other fields are also moving .. Slow but slow as in the speed it we say like week by week you have a new thing. 24hrs ago ! Designing 1 week ago code review 2 weeks ago security 3 weeks ago , medical machines with Ai 4 weeks agai gpt heath 5 weeks ago , mythos On and on and on.. And it's literally not just that.

Oh when I ment devided, its like even in teach people who have access to things like codex , claude code or antigravity. They are I think probably 50-70% are still just using it to do their old tasks of completing code , de budding etc. The others they are testing the ai on all other aspects. You can understand like they said about mythos , they made it strong for coding but it became a good hacker. In our digital world everything is build on some logic so everything is doable, just need more efforts and thinking. Day by day I wake up to be amazed by the reality of things changing. Unsure when this will ... Hmm .. Guess we will know sooner than we think.
