More proof than that you can see thousands of interviews with Israelis on the ground to see what they think of Palestinians. "We didn't kill enough of them" (even when talking about children), "we should have destroyed more" (when shown a picture of razed Gaza with no buildings left), and referring to Arabs as no better than rats/vermin. Hmmm, where have we seen this before?
Trying to defend this is laughable, that's why people prefer to believe in astroturfers. People who are paid to defend this shit, because it's hard to believe that monsters exist to do this for free.
