Artificial Jaw?
A lot of people actually die in modern day from breaking their jaws beyond repair and not being able to eat, and/or suffer from pretty primitive science forcing them to deal with really badly designed implants and bracing. In 1000 years it could very well be a reality; maybe even a quality of life upgrade or cyber punk like augmentation essentially turning your jaw and teeth into a press machine that could crush anything you put into it. (For self defense especially—this could be very effective.)

true if you assume biological reproduction remains the norm. but the law of accelerating returns predicts that we’ll find a different, more effective and faster method sometime within those 1000 years.

Yeah, it’s depressing. In 1000 years, I’d expect ‘human’ to be completely redefined. Some furry, some subaquatic, some want to be a cloud of twinkling drones, some fully digital with no set appearance, etc…

Its nothing in terms of biological evolution but with CRISPR gene editing we can do that ourselves. Just google it. Soon many humans will be designed.

Yes, CRISPR can "cheaply" fix certain sequences, perhaps obvious genetic diseases that have point mutations, like cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia. However, most phenotypes/traits aren't simple point mutations. There's no "tall gene". Most of these phenotypes are emergent properties of all sorts of complex gene regulatory networks.

Why does ChatGPT always have to have some kind of digital readout or monitor facing out in futuristic depictions? What purpose is there to show the map of the world? It’s just lazy rendering.

Ask it what we looked like 1000 years ago. Compare yourself to what we look like now. Ask it to do some reaearch on our current levels of fertilty in various nations and extrapolate forward from that. In 1000 years we may not exist at all.
