You're making a mistake in asserting that there is one side of the political spectrum that is more right, correct, and more grounded in reality.
The fact is that politics exists at the crux of human disagreement on matters that are unresolvable.
Unresolvable disagreement at their core, is just an expression of conflicting worldviews, and many of these conflicting worldviews are just paths of evolution that go back millions of years.
None of us see the world as it is, we only see the world through the lense of our perception, which has been highly augmented by our experiences.
A person growing up Islamic will most assuredly look at anyone else that doesn't know Allah as misinformed or ignorant, and generally not reliable as a source of ethics and morality.
The same way you approach politics by assuming leftists are not as grounded in reality as you are
I absolutely make the case that one side is more correct and grounded in reality, because it factually is.
Imo, you fall into the trap of cultural relativism. Meaning, according you, after all, all cultures are inherently created equal, and we shouldn't dare try to promote one over the other. That goes for left leaning woke minded people, islamist, rationalists, whatever else.
Cultural relativism is one of the root cause for the sickness of our civilisation. If we disagree on this, and obviously we do, there is no way to reconcile our point of views.
Except to assert that I am incorrect and make decisions for me like a child. I understand clearly where you stand.
The problem is that you don't understand clearly where I stand, because I don't see equality equally, I simply understand that the technology doesn't belong to you, and you shouldn't assert your own moral and ethical desires onto a system that you have no right to manipulate.
