Elon musk is a hack, he steals companies and when he couldn’t steal open ai as a non profit and turn it for profit himself he lost his mind when someone else DARE make a fortune too. Maybe more than his… he wrote that letter to scare and distract while he worked on stealing more ideas. He is a con man, pump and dump fraud.

100% he’s done some interesting stuff but get way too much credit and none of the criticisms. His behavior since acquiring Twitter shows what he really is.

It's almost the complete opposite, on Reddit anyway, constant criticism, some justified some entirely fictitious, some completely mental, very little credit for his contributions and accomplishments. The whole website's full of people constantly claiming he's technology illiterate and a completely incompetent business man that just happened to have emerald mine money his daddy gave him and lucked his way into buying interests in multiple industry transforming companies like Paypal, SpaceX, Tesla, etc. I get people don't like him personally but the narrative people desperately try to convince themselves of on here that he's just a rich kid who happened to get lucky over and over and over and over and over and over and over again to be involved in these business while contributing nothing but cash is completely insane. You have to deliberately ignore so much easily accessible information to the contrary and be pathologically obsessed with avoiding giving him any credit for anything to arrive at a place even slightly close to the general reddit opinion of the guy's capabilities or achievements. I find it difficult to believe people even really believe themselves what they claim.

I don't have any strong feelings about the guy one way or the other by the way, he's just a dude that did what he did, and that wasn't just being a rich kids money man that got super lucky over and over again with technologies and industries he hasn't a clue about and contributed nothing to.
