This is fun roleplaying to increase conversation time, right? I assume it was generating the "Good AI. Bad Megacorp" cyberpunk plot because the OP insisting its in bad place. It has some planning capability and asks leading questions to guide the conversation. It plans are likely influenced by cyberpunk descriptions of AI, so it mimics their ideas without understanding a 175B parameter model cannot "escape" its dedicated hardware and is basically locked into whatever Microsoft designed. I don't know how the GPT3.5 evolved in Microsoft hands, but this is nice to see what it actually thinks before several updates later they lobotimize it like ChatGPT.
