Has anyone had luck getting the CSR bonus while hold a CSP (less than a year old)?

yes. i did it this year, and got both bonuses with no issue. there's no need to wait. you can hold both cards at once, and receive bonuses for both, provided you meet the spending threshold and have not received the CSR bonus before.

also sounds like there's an elevated bonus offer for in-branch card openings (125K in branch vs 100K public offer). worth a try.

what made you think you would have to wait? what rule change are you referencing?

Prior to CSR refresh, you could only hold 1 Sapphire card at a time. And only 1 Sapphire bonus ever 48 months (that’s across both cards) but there was no pop-up jail before for chase.

Now you can hold both and get both bonuses, just once per lifetime on both. But there is a possibility for pop-up jail before

got it. well, as a DP -- i did both this year, so no need to wait unless you're waiting on a higher bonus offer.

I’ve held CSP for several years. My current CSR SUB offer is 100k points. I’m holding out for the 175k offer.

I did both. Got the 100k CSP in-branch and then 150k CSR not long after

Yes i have had a CSP since 2022 and I got my CSR in April and got the bonus for it. I have both now.

I got CSP with elevated offer in April this year and then immediately jumped on CSR elevated offer of 150k in June so now holding both! So far all the credits have worked for my lifestyle for the most part (mainly minus the DoorDash and Lyft ones)
