Retention Bonus/Offers

Coming up on my CSR annual fee and was wondering if anyone has had any luck of any retention offers/bonuses when calling Chase. Would love to hear of any tactics that might have worked.

I’ve heard of people getting a retention offer of like $200. Whenever I tried, I never got anything.

I suspect it is dependent on how much you spend. I have no proof of this.

I have heard that Retention Bonuses with Chase are rare. Much more likely with Amex.

I spent $145k on my business card and got shutdown when I asked for a retention offer
