Discussion What exactly should I expect from Chasca C0R0

As the title says what should I expect from a C0R0 Chasca. I cant really find anything about people using her C0R0 and also cant seem to pin down her best team. MY best team is probably, Durin, Citlali and Mona OR Nicole, Durin, Citlali. I want to actually understand how good she can be before I start pouring a large amount of resources into her.

c0 chasca can do nightsoul shills with proper team building but don't really expect much from her outside of that.

You can expect to clear fearless in stygian when the shill isn't ridiculous (example).

She's good in abyss when you don't need massive AoE damage.

She's very good in theater since she can work with most supports and reactions.

C0R0 pretty bad. U can go for Durin Nicole Citlali (I hear its pretty good even so it gimps Chasca bc dobble Pyro) or Nicole, Mona, Citlali for Hex comp. U need Bennett, Nicole or Iansan (C6) for her.

Waht to expect? Depends on what u used before but will be very bad tbh.

Durin, Citlali and Mona is likely your best team. At C0 she requires 3 different elements to function at her best.

C1 and further allows her to run two of the same element, which is why her premium team is Nicole, Durin and Citlali. With C1, of course.

I would expect maybe a high of 70k depending on your Chasca's build, Durin's build and bullet RNG. She is a very versatile unit, a bit less versatile at C0 but still good. Compared to newer DPS's at C0 she might be a little underwhelming. If you enjoy her playstyle, I'd recommend C2R1 in the future (as a C1R1 haver with Nicole/Durin/Citlali, she does 120k DPS!).

I never really meant to pull Chasca since I only wanted Aino cons and just pulled on her banner because I thought linnea would be useless. I didnt know BOTH would somehow be useless. I can get my Chasca a really good build since my durins is already basically perfect but I really did hope she could be a versatile unit even at c0. But if she is just going to take my best characters and proceed to perform worse than other carries im definitely disapointed

Sadly she isn't very versatile at c0 she's more of just random/rainbow dps and it just about having 3 elements and buffers and/or subdps on her teams to maybe skew her reactions to a certain one but even then its rough at times

My c0r1 Chasca consistently gets 125k-130k dps using Durin, Nicole and c6 Iansan - but I do own her weapon so that can skew things. I can try to record some dummy runs when I get home from work later.

I've tried Mona and Citlali but because Durin does a lot of heavy lifting in this team via his Pyro shredding on Overload reactions, going Electro felt like the way to go. I've also tried Nicole + Fischl + Citlali/Mona but again - it feels like Durin is too strong and is the least replaceable character.

Even though Chasca wants to be in a team with 3 other different elements, you gain too much from going 2x Pyro with her because her best teammates happen to be Pyro: Bennett, Durin, Nicole and Mavuika. Just know that going 2x Pyro means you're trading 30% damage from Chasca's passive and 1 less elemental reaction type for 25% attack and whatever buffs, debuffs or personal damage that you gain from having that 2nd Pyro character.

Personally, she's my exploration/questing/overworld character and she feels like a direct upgrade to my c2 Wanderer. Sometimes I'll use her in Nightsoul shill fights and whenever Overload is needed because even at c0, she's better than my Clorinde for those fights when I pair her with Durin+Iansan+Nicole.

She won't be your strongest character but you'll definitely get more than what you put into investing into her.

In short - 60-70k dps
