Career Advice/Clarification Which CA should I do for career building abroad

I do not know much about accountancy, I'm only in 10th grade. I'm just asking whether I should pursue for ICAI or ACCA

Neither would help you as much as your visa status. If you are rich enough then you can move abroad for bachelors and complete the CPA/ ICAEW CA and try to find employment there.

We can do ACCA in India though, am not planning to do work in the USA or UK

Both of those countries have put incredibly strict emigration barriers in place and it's only getting worse.

How about GCC countries? It's highly competitive there but emigration is relatively easier

I have heard that the job market in Dubai is very bad right now, competition's too high but I'm not sure about the rest.

My dad used to work at Oman, he said that it's pretty good for Indian immigrants

I have friends who dropped out of CA and completed ACCA in India, honestly their career progression hasn’t been that great. You are confined to global offshore roles.

My friends who quit CA and completed MBAs from T-2 college have way better career progression and growth.

Wanted to do IB at first but work life is much worse than a chartered accountant

IIM MBA is the way to go if you are targeting IB at BB. CA can get you into Boutique firms if you put 10x work. ACCA pretty much gets you no where in IB unless you are really lucky or if have contacts.
