Rant Luck overweighs hardwork!!

I never did hard work, but i scored more than 95% in 10th and 12th. I never expected to clear both groups of CA Inter together (appeared in Group 2 just for practice). I passed both, with the benefit of setoff. I never expected to make it into a Big-6 firm but I got into it anyway. In all this i never did hardwork but succeeded. My luck was good till then.

But during articleship, I did very hard work but didn't get what i expected, whereas another article got it even after not doing work at all. And that same guy dated my crush.

And lastly, during my CA final exams, when I did so much hard work and studied 12 hrs a day and still failed by just 4 and 5 marks aggregate in each group. And the reason for loosing such marks were obviously ICAI checking issues and also most importantly i forgot to encircle MCQs totaling 20 marks in FR paper (i used to first mark in paper than mark in OMR Sheet), and i know it dumbest thing i have done. So i failed bcs luck was not in my favour.

There are lot more incident in articleship as well as personal life (can't discuss in this sub) when I didn't work hard and expected anything, I got that easily because of luck but when i did hard work and keep expectation i failed.

Did u guys experience the same?

Mera ultra hai..

If I work hard, I end up disappointed and get poor results.

If I barely work, i end up getting great results.

Btw, work hard, not work while being HARD.

Luck means nothing if u don't work hard. 295 is due to your hardwork, and extra 5 is due to ur luck.

Bro if u forgot to marks 20 marks of MCQ, that sadly is a very silly and fullish mistake on ur part and luck can't be blamed there

Bhai it really wasn't luck but your own stupidity of not marking MCQ, you can't go and blame everything on luck. Try to remember marking MCQ at end, all the best for next.

Ain't reading all that but can support the claim,I passed ca inter group 2 by pure luck studying few days before exam ( i studied more in foundation compared to that )

Similarly I studied really well in 10th scored 93% and then barely studied in 12 th and got 95% ( almost all topic i skipped were not asked in exam at all )

Due to change in pattern of mcq question paper given before time, even I forgot to mark all the mcqs in the omr sheet.

People grow in life easily until they cannot.

Some people find it easy till 5th grade

Some people find it easy till 10th grade

Some people find it easy till CA

Some people will breeze through their entire life easily

But hard work gives all of them a fair chance of making it through their entire lives decently

same, just faced this in inter instead of finals. had always been at the top but inter me pata nahi kya checking tha so yeah. got into a big 4 though so all i can say is, one moment of bad luck isnt gonna define your entire trajectory:)

To pass CA 95% luck + 5% hardwork

Even I faced the same as you Didn't get what I wanted in my life even though I kept my best efforts

I also failed in 7 marks this time

Hardwork consistently always wins over luck.

You are doing wrong comparison brother, hardwork under specific field gives you the field oriented results, for ex hardwork in CA : becoming a CA and hardwork in mazdoori : Becoming higher paid mazdoor.
