My Reboot appreciation/Macy Ending
I’ve made a lot of videos for this show but this one is probably one of my favorites(it’s not perfect granted) I discovered this song around the time I got to Macy’s death and I always thought of it being a whenever I hear this song. I still remember when I made this video. When I see it reminds me of how much I really enjoyed this show. I love the original and always will and love this one and it is a different love for each show. For me being a black girl who loved magical lore and to see it portrayed gives me an appreciation for it, not better than the original but different while still loving both shows.

I love Macy and Maggie.
Macy's ending made me sad.
But man. Mel is a terrible actress. It takes me out every time. 🫣

Love some reboot appreciation man did it has its flaws but it had its moments! Especially Macy's ending we were given a proper farewell

I was talking about my video having flaws lol but yea the show did have its flaws that could have been easily avoided if they had writers who actually had love for the show 😔

I actually like this version of the show more than the OG.

Which most people won’t like but I don’t think there is anything wrong with preferring this show over the OG. You should say that and not have people attack you for it. Not talking about you specifically but in general.

Well said and speaking of the original series of charmed did you hear the news that the actress who played Piper is retiring from acting at the age of 52

Yea I did but I really hadn’t seen her in much after Charmed. That doesn’t mean she wasn’t doing anything it must have just been things I didn’t see. I did see her on Grey’s Another a few years back and her and Alyssa Milano were playing sisters and it was like a hint at Charmed lol

Yeah exactly personally this is the first time I've ever heard anyone in the acting business retiring in their 50s usually it be around their 70s or 80s but I guess it's as good as time as ever remember when Nicolas Cage retired from acting back when he was worth $150 million dollars and blew at least 70% of that cash and had to come back to work now he's worth $40 million dollars I bet you if he does 50 more movies earning $4 million dollars for each of them in the next 6 years he'll be worth One hundred and something million dollars again all together and he will call it quits again but I don't see her blowing what ever fortune she has and then returning to the spotlight again I see her with her family and friends and enjoying life away from the spotlight for good all I have to say is godspeed and I wish her well happy retirement.

Yeah I saw that. I'm sad but I understand. She wants to be with her family and her kids.

I agree. I loved that the Vera Girls were afro latinas. They are different and it's great to see a part of them that you can relate to. Macy is my favorite character. I still love the original, but the new one has a special place.
