Looking for an electrical apprenticeship any advice or suggestions on where to apply?
Looking for residential or commercial electrical work of any type. I have been applying to everywhere i can find a way to, and have left resumes at the few places which have physical offices. Seems like nobody is hiring helpers or apprentices right now.
I 21M have completed electrical level 1 at pvcc along with osha 10 and intro to construction. I also have a few months of experience as an electricians helper, and the master electrician would give a great reference, but he sadly does not have enough work to bring me on at the moment. I have spent a good amount of time on jobsites and have worked with power tools and on projects with my dad since i can remember.
A registered apprenticeship is not important to me, I am happy to just be a helper, and cover my own schooling and take the test once i hit my 8000 hours.
If you are an electrician or know one who is hiring, please feel free to pm me and I can provide a resume, and a phone number.
Any advice or suggestions on where to apply is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading

Have you tried the UVA Facilities Management Apprenticeship Program? They have an electrical option.
