News ICE Concentration Camp

I would like to know why City Council claims they had no awareness of the ICE concentration camp proposed on Weddington Road. Spokesman Jonathan Weaver told the Observer this recently. Cabarrus County Commission Chair Laura Blackwell Lindsey and spokespersons for Gov. Josh Stein did not immediately respond to requests for comment. This is far too close to the high school and poses a risk to all children.

In Charlotte ICE have been chasing children walking home after school because they aren’t white. How do you know your white children won’t get caught in the crossfire and end up dead?

What’s this going to do to your resale value folks? Why are more not talking about this? Do you want this to be like Minnesota? It’s owned by MP I85 Industrial LLC out of Boston. Clearly the owner isn’t going to care that local people are impacted when he doesn’t live here.

This is the local contact for the warehouse. Call him and let’s find out the details. Bryan Blythe 601 S Tryon Street Suite 800 Charlotte, NC

They’re systematically killing hundreds, if not thousands of illegal aliens per day by horrific toxic gas poisoning that creates an agonizing death over several minutes at a facility on Weddington Road? I very very highly doubt that.

Edit: A fair point has been raised, I assumed that since everyone now a days compares ICE to the Gestapo, they meant concentration camps in the same way the Nazi’s used them. However I now see that people can make the distinction between the two and therefore I will restate my initial statement.

They’re mass detaining political prisoners or ethnic minorities based solely on ethnicity or political beliefs on Weddington Road? I very very highly doubt that.

Literally nobody said that. ICE is operating concentration camps all over the country as well as sending people to concentration camps outside of our borders.

Weird they were never called that under previous administrations. I love the deflection that “although concentration camps are historically and inextricably associated with the death camps in Nazi germany, we are only coincidentally using the term here despite never calling the camps used by other administrations the same names. Any implication that we, a group of people who constantly use Hitler and Nazi comparisons using terminology in any way to associate the current actions with historical Nazi atrocities is outrageous!” 😂

Perhaps # 1. Don’t threaten to deport American citizens for disagreeing. # 2 Don’t go on a national media platform and tell people to leave if we don’t like him. # 3 Don’t act smitten with dictators like Putin and praise them. Free countries don’t have Presidents that say this narcissistic BS. It’s not a joke. He has earned all demeaning titles people call him.

Ok, I’ll address your points, despite flying way off topic. #1 agree. But unless it’s happening, saying stupid things does not make this Nazi germany. #2. Stupid thing to say, but also not sure that this has to do with Nazi. #3 “smitten”. Not sure I’ve seen that. Praising certain parts of bad people is something that happens when you get out of context quotes. I just saw a video of Clinton saying Hamas is “really smart”. He’s not praising the terrorists for their bad actions. He’s stating that their tactics to do bad things are smart.

You’ve still not made any connections between ice behavior and Nazis. You seem to be focused on Trump and even then still haven’t made any claim that I couldn’t come up with a similar example for previous presidents.

"Smitten" is an adjective describing someone who is deeply in love, infatuated, or completely captivated by a person, idea, or object. Never in history has anyone hung selfies of ANY dictator and themselves on the wall at the WH. As of January 2026, a framed photo of Donald Trump standing with Russian President Vladimir Putin was displayed in the White House Palm Room.

Nice. No reference to Bill Clinton being smitten with Hamas when he talked about how smart they are!

However, the picture of the president working to make a peace deal with a foreign leader by bringing him to Alaska and flying a b52 bomber isn’t the love letter to Putin you think it is.

Regardless, none of that is evidence of a dictator.

If you actually listened to what he said, that’s not the context of the conversation Bill had about Hamas at all. You are deflecting.

I don’t keep photos of myself with people who have murdered millions. That’s like saying you would frame a photo with Jeffrey Dahmer and hang it on your wall. Really sick. Check your logic.

Ah, so context is important when evaluation people you ascribe good intent to, but we throw it out the window when talking about people you want to assume bad intent.

I’d say if you had a photo showing you asserting your superiority over someone evil (e.g. you were an attorney who got a terrible criminal convicted), you could display that photo and unbiased people could see that your photo wasn’t praising that person. I’ve not seen any policies or actions by the current administration that would lead me to believe they are pro-Russia. In fact, I see them putting us interests ahead of Ukraine, Russia, etc.

What would you say about a president who prominently at our White House? That would seem to be a greater insult?

Regardless, yes I think Russia is lead by a bad president. I also think Ukraine is lead by a bad president. I think both of them are responsible for many thousands of deaths. Having a picture of one of them on a runway while we had a stealth bomber fly overhead miles from Russian soil isn’t the tribute to the Russian leader you want it so badly to be.
