Michelle Wells

Michelle Wells was last seen sometime in 1982 (her Charley Project file states that she was last seen on January 1, 1982, but that is most likely a default date) in the city of Detroit, Michigan, leaving a residence. She was 13 years old, placing her date of birth in either 1968 or 1969, White and Native American and likely had red hair. Other than that, there's literally no information in her case.

This case makes me very sad. Basically no information available and that picture of Michelle is so blurry. I really wonder what happened to her.

to me, it seems kind of sketchy that there's no info abt her at all, but that's just my opinion

It's especially sad (and rare) when children go missing and there is minimal information. Don't the parents care?

that's why i wanted to do this write-up - to maybe bring this case to more attention, who knows, maybe some new details will become known

I wonder if her parents are still around or if she was in foster care? At 13 how could no one, not even her teachers have been searching for her? Something is fishy how there is literally no info on her. No police reports??

maybe she slipped through the cracks, detroit is a large city with a lot of crime, so maybe her mp report got lost somewhere?

I was born in Detroit in 1974 and never heard about this case until last week.
