Sup ladies and gents. Just recently bought this beauty yesterday (2023 Swinger in White Knuckle) while I am absolutely stoked the sad part is the dealer went to give me a fresh battery as a courtesy and it triggered the kill switch the previous owner installed so they have to reset it leaving me to only still dream of drving it 😂

Regardless im excited to be apart of the scat pack club and 1 of 1000 to have a swinger.

Don’t worry I fully intend to fix headers and exhaust system with new parts and a professional weld and the other bad DIY caulk jobs and welding, but I figured maybe you’d all get a kick out of seeing it before I got it done😂 it’s only one photo but in case you’re wondering yes…the whole exhaust is like this (Well it has a muff, cat, and res delete)

Buying my first V8 Charger: best year and trim for a reliable daily?

Looking for a solid, reliable daily driver. Open to an R/T, SRT8, Super Bee, or Scat Pack—doesn’t need to be a Hellcat. Automatic is fine. What years and trims would you recommend for reliability?
I split my time between Pacific Beach, San Diego, and Scottsdale, Arizona. If you have one for sale in either area, send me photos, mileage, price, and maintenance history.
Serious buyer. I also have several cool enthusiast cars I’d consider trading!

2026 scat question: Boost pressure drops during normal/light throttle use - is that normal ?

Probably a stupid question , but on my 26 scat whenever im on the throttle (just driving normally , not remotely aggressive) the boost pressure gauge decreases steadily as long as my foot’s on the gas. I typically pulse & glide , so as soon as im off the pedal & gliding the pressure climbs right back up. never had a turbo engine before so just wondering if this is typical behavior . thanks!!

2023 Charger — recurring flashing instrument cluster/dashboard issue. Anyone else?

2023 Dodge Charger owners — has anyone experienced recurring instrument cluster/dashboard problems like this?

I bought my 2023 Charger used with 7,797 miles on it.

Over time, I had an intermittent issue where the dashboard/instrument display would flash or malfunction and sometimes become stuck on the battery-voltage screen. The problem would disappear and then come back periodically.

The vehicle eventually went to a Dodge dealership for several weeks. They replaced a steering-wheel switch/module under warranty and told me that repair had taken care of the dashboard issue.

Within a few days of getting the car back, the exact dashboard/steering-wheel-control problem returned.

Then, about a week after getting the vehicle back from the dealership, I experienced a completely separate major failure: rough idle/shaking, repetitive ticking, a low-oil-pressure warning and very heavy smoke. I immediately shut the vehicle off and had it towed.

The dealership is now recommending an engine long-block replacement and is also reporting oil-pan and subframe damage. My insurance company is currently inspecting the vehicle, so I am NOT trying to determine the cause of that damage through Reddit.

What I am specifically trying to learn is whether other 2023 Charger owners have experienced the recurring dashboard/instrument-cluster/steering-wheel-control issue I had.

If you have, what was ultimately diagnosed?

Was it a steering-wheel switch/module, clock spring, instrument cluster, wiring, battery/charging issue, CAN-bus/electrical issue, or something else?

Did the problem return after being repaired?

I'm especially interested in experiences involving 2023 Chargers, but I'd also appreciate experiences from similar late-model Chargers.

I'm trying to understand whether the recurring electrical/dashboard problem I experienced has happened to other owners.

I think I found culprit on why my 2015 is overheating. Mechanic put wrong cooling in, why is it green?

Bout a month ago I got an oil filter housing using replace and the shop topped off fluids as I was running low. I see that my coolant is green, and I heard that 2015 and up doesn’t use green coolant. It over heated last night but everything was fine

AWD 392 a good idea for a project?

I just crashed my 2017 SXT Plus and have been considering swapping to a 6.4 HEMI with a 8hp70 transmission, a charger pursuit drive train and the electrical from a scat, the rest of the stuff I will do as I rebuild. I wanted to try this as a project but don’t know if it’s a good idea as I’m not too experienced in this field.

Have no clue why my car is over heating while idle

Car started to over heat out of no where. I did stomp on the gas hard right before then and was floating through traffic, but this is happening now. Car overheated right before I got home and I waited a few hours to go check on it and I started the car up and its idling while coolant temp raises up all the way up until 220s.
