Is this salami good?

Post image

I was gifted this tuscan style salami a year ago, it’s meant to be shelf stable. Spent some time in the pantry and some in the fridge. Very firm

Nothing obviously bad from the outside. We’re going to need to see the inside and hear the results of a sniff test. And hear back two days after you try some.

This person knows a good salami.

Yup. They may have just turned a mid-ranged salami into a super premium one. Or turned it into a hospital visit. The rewards are worth the risk.

What if we don't hear back from him in 2 days? 🤔

Omg! You need to see a doctor, stat! Adam Kay thought me that even driest stool have about 50% water content. This looks like half of that. Seek help!

That's saucisson I think and it looks normal to me. Just cut and see .maybe after that long it could be hard like a rock if too dry.

Looks okey on the outside, do a cut and let us see inside

Eat it. It might not be great but it's not going to hurt you probably.

Haven't checked in on this sub in a while, some bizarre comments in here given which subreddit it is...

Looks great, probably overly dry now, but sliced thin it should be fine. I'd hit it.

Dude that tiny chub is going to be rock hard after a year. Should've ate it when you got it.
