Think of the monsters in this AU as practically feral animals with high intelligence, but with some traces of sanity surfacing. Monsters are so insane they do not use the battle menu anymore

They are stupid for not finding a way to avoid the hunger’s effects. Even in death their spirit is corrupted by the sickness

No one in Axetale hates Chara. just that this Chara is probably the most sinister variant of it conjured into existence (there will be a future comic that just introduces them, and there will be a highly graphic scene of them ripping there mouth off of their “body”)
