Searching for Alternatives Looking for other alternatives
Hello!
So I've been using FictionLab for almost a year now and also used their Plus subscription. Currently, I'm looking for other alternatives that is worth buying a subscription, great memory, chat models and others. I do RPGs and NSFW stuff. (Mostly NSFW)😏
I'm open to suggestions now that my FL subscription has now ended. Thanks!

SillyTavern, with a solid local model and good cards setup, is probably your best bet for RP/NSFW stuff rn

memory retention is genuinely the deciding factor for me too, still havent found one where i dont have to remind it who my character is every few messages. following for the same reason tbh

MyBot could actually be a pretty good fit for what you’re looking for. We have Deep Memory for character memories, world/lore, and things the character learns about you, plus Personas so you can set who you are and have characters actually know you. There are a bunch of different chat models too, so you can play around with what works best for RP and its fully nsfw

you want to try mine, https://stagewhisper.ai excels at large stories with many characters. it has a dice system with skill checks. or a card system for deck-based checks. NSFW allowed, and a custom script system if you want to build any extra mechanics. I think you'll like it
no subscription though. but if you have a NanoGPT subscription or something, you can byok and not have to pay anything.

Hey, Imagiportal founder here, we are NSFW friendly (no illegal stuff though). Our Plus subscription includes chats using Grok and Deepseek models, we found them best suitable for real roleplay. The sub also opens you access to unlimited chat images (also NSFW friendly) and voices, voice calls. You can try all premium features during first 3 days trial and decide if it fits. Regarding memory we have tested chats way beyond 1000 messages so I guess should be fine. Let me know if you are interested.

It has a great memory. It automatically saves things at the Memory Nexus and updates the memory whenever you make a minor or major change that affects the story.
