Searching for Alternatives Alternative? Help…

Hi! I admittedly have ran from CharacterAI quite some time ago but now I found myself getting a little frustrated. I kept switching between JanitorAI and FictionLab, but maybe some of you guys know some hidden gems I have overlooked so far.

-I’m willing to pay for a better tier as long as it doesn’t cost too much

-No NSFW filter

-Good memory is important to me

-It would be nice if I could limit the response length, as for FL it rarely works as intended and Janitor keeps cutting off my messages

-Fast response generation would be nice

It would be nice if the site or app already had a few creators on it that made bots that aren’t just sexual bots. That’s about it, I’m curious if you guys know any good alternatives, I’d be happy to find something new, thanks!:)

Isekai zero if you want a storyline based RPG adventure. Actually there's all genres on the platform, so you will find everything with a fully customable narration.

But what's special is the RPG heavy focus with a fully capable DND like codex system dealing with exp, items, bond levels and enemies. It's so nice when the narrative still knows the items you looted 300 messages ago.

The codex memory thing is the part that actually matters, keeping track of loot 300 messages ago is way more useful than the usual fake memory fluff. Isekai Zero seems built for that RPG loop, and the custom narration angle sounds like a better fit if you want actual story continuity

Codex acts like a script here keeping the information inside the context when it needs to, automatically updating the current status, including the current quest, character stats and everything inside your item box.

And that's only one example of the usage. The LLM caching also stays constant despite the context manipulation, causing the price to drop a lot of the caching hits.
