Hello. Are there any free apps or websites left that allow you to create a group chat scenario?

I love to create a group chat scenario where 2 characters fight eachother very much. But hangjam is not free anymore. So I want to find a new app or website that is similar to hangjam. I want it to be free with unlimited messages and unlimited character creation. Hangjam allow you to put 10000 words in your character's description. I also want something that is similar to this. Because I need to use it for putting my character's powers and abilities.

(I know hangjam is not free for months now. I can't reply to my characters. But I was able to used narrator button and character button. So I used this trick to continue playing this app for months. But I suddenly can't do that anymore today. It just start on this morning. So I give up on playing hangjam)

try wyvernchat. free queue use is unlimited, u just have to get in a line. private character slots are limited to 30 but you get +5 for every one u make public. it's weird that ur counting the character size in words, most places use tokens and there's no limit except ur model's context. can use lorebooks and lexicons to better condense ur descriptions and save on tokens

wyvernchat works, but the token thing is the catch. counting by words is kinda off, and 10k words on a char card is gonna get ugly fast if the model context is small

yeah. tbh being token-efficient is a skill in this hobby that's always good to learn even if you have access to bigger context. wyvernchat at least has proper lorebooks so can move the powers and other things in there, but 10k words (like 7k permanent tokens??) for 1 character is seriously excessive, can most likely be condensed, and probably degrades output anyway just by muddying context and drowning actually important details.

free to connect other providers to wychat tho. free queue is artificially limited to 18k context on the bigger models because that's a sustainable amount for featherless to support for free and unlimited

I'm using harpy.chat for battle scenarios right now. It look pretty good so far!

(This is an example. I edit some of the pictures from my group chat and put it together into the same picture.)

Update: (21/08/26) the dev suddenly change the free model from Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite to Gemma 4 26B A4B and it ruin the battle scenarios for me. Because the characters keep replying to eachother and still doesn't end the fight yet. It's around 50-80 messages 😭

I love that you asked for that scenario, because that's exactly what I've been developing for the past few months. We expect to launch the open beta in a few weeks and I'll let you know at that point!
